Thanks to my marshals for giving 100% as normal, and to Snax and mate for stepping it at the last minute to cover for Rab, who sadly lost his Mum on Saturday morning so obviously wasnt up for coming with me, our thoughts are with you at this time.
What a weekend....thanks to Clint Moore Captain of London Nexus for coming to support the event and support London Defiance Homeguard, Gary never had to move from back centre, other than on the last game to pick up the flag, because he needed the exercise, i love you all to bits. To Neil Campbell (the cool one and bad boy) of London Nexus for playing with Watford Reform and helping them on and off field, I wish more players were like you and stepped down to help where needed you certainly well represent your main sponsor Dye Europe. I would have you back...
It was going to be a close one between Sabotage, Samurai M.V, Samurai Rage and Sabotage Mixie. Sabotage Mixie hadnt had a good last round, but had been training the weekend before and showed that they could pull it around when needed, sadly it wasnt enough on the day, Sabotage were also up and down all day, even with constant motivation and heckling they tried their best on the day but first place slipped away from them this year, but watch this space for 2011. Samurai M.V and Samurai Rage played consistently well all day and they showed in the end of day result.
I will have alot more to say about the series winners at the trophy ceremony which will take place at Shoot The Rainbow, i would like all my Southern teams to make the effort to travel up to Matlock in the Peak District, i promise it will be worth the effort.
