Millennium European Series together with the UK Masters

Millennium European Series together with the UK Masters

Postby Lady Organ Grinder » Tue Jan 19, 2010 9:54 pm

I have some very exciting news for anyone playing the UK Masters.

In line with the Millennium I will be using the new race to 2 format as part of the UK Masters. I will be calling it Ultra Lite as it is the next step up from 5 man ramping, with the next move to UKM Lite

This format will be available to the top 6 division one teams initially and if it takes off will be opened up to more teams. This a new concept and as yet the Millennium have only released basic information so until things have been formalised i will be adapting it to fit with the UK Masters.

So just as i have said it will be race to two points. I intend on every team playing each other once, 5 minute games with 2 minutes between points, NO coaching. So the minimum amount of games is 10 and the maximum is 15.

I will release more information shortly re series points, roster sizes and entry fees.

After speaking with a number of captains, they were very excited at taking the next step to full on UKM Lite with coaching.

I am very excited and will be looking to bring this new format to the UK Masters wef February. If your team is interested in the new Ultra Lite format please give me a call or post here.

I look forward to hearing from you.
